Gig-Harbor
, with a population of 6,621, is in Pierce County, Washington. Gig Harbor is known as the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula. It is a popular tourist spot due to its location relative to several state and city parks and its historic waterfront. Gig Harbor is a favorite destination for people all over the world with its galleries, shops, restaurants, beautiful scenery and many other recreational activities. The Tides Tavern is one of the most popular restaurants in Gig Harbor with both indoor and outdoor seating where you can watch boats as they come and go through the bay. Gig Harbor City Park, also known as Crescent Creek Park, is a recreational park offering basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball diamond, children's playground, and swings for infants.
